begin和start的区别：
1、begin 表示的开始往往指从起点开始，而 start 则不一定。因此当一件事中断后再开始时通常应用 start again，而 begin again 则往往含有“从头再来”的意思。
例句：
Conversation started and stopped, and after a long pause, started again. 谈话开始后又停止了，过了好长一会儿，才又开始。
Don’t lose heart, let’s begin again. 别灰心，让我们从头再来。
2、begin 的动作性较弱，start 的动词性较强，因此在表示某种状态或缓慢的开始时，一般多用 begin;表示某种动作尤其是某种急速的动作时，一般要用 start 。
例句：
School begins on September 1. 9 月 1 日开学。
Now his health begins to improve. 现在他的健康开始好转。
The dog suddenly started running round the house. 那狗突然开始绕着房子跑。
3、表示“开动”、“出发”、“引起”等，一般用 start。
例句：
We couldn’t start the car. 我们无法开动汽车。
This news started me thinking. 这消息引起了我的思考。
4、表示“从……开始”，英语一般不用 begin from，但有时可用 start from。
例如：
我们从第 10 页开始吧。
误：Let’s begin from page 10.
正：Let’s begin at page 10. / Let’s start from page 10.
